Cotswold Dental Training was set up by Jackie Gazzard and John Anderson in 2005 after recognising a need for good quality nurse training in the Gloucestershire area. Since its inception, it has successfully gone on to train hundreds of dental nurses to pass the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses Diploma examination. 

Alongside the core training we also provide training in the following essential areas of Medical Emergencies;

• Basic Life support (CPR)
• AED – how to use a defibrillator
• EFAW qualification course (Emergency first aid at work)
• Cross Infection Control
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Ionising Radiation
• Health & Safety
• Law & Ethics
• Safeguarding of Adults and Children

Cotswold Dental Training also provide extended duties courses for DCP's in;

• Impression Taking
• Plaque & Debris Scoring
• Fluoride application

Jackie is a very highly qualified trainer and is also actively involved with the National Examination Board for Dental Nurses as a committee member, a ROE Witness Marker and a presiding examiner.

At present we run courses in Tetbury, Gloucester, Whitminster, Distance Learning as well as providing in-house training throughout Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
